Canada Games 2025 Men's & Women's Teams Head Coaches Appointed
PEI Soccer is pleased to announce their Canada Games 2025 Head Coaches.
Janos Barna has been appointed Head Coach of the Women's program.
Janos has a vast amount of coaching experience with over 10 years coaching in the Provincial and PEIFC programs and played on the (1985) Canada Games team and at UPEI 1985-1991. Janos is an Assistant Coach with the UPEI Women's Soccer team (2014-2018 & 2020-present) and was also an Assistant Coach with the Holland College Men's team (2019).
Nathan Ford has been appointed Head Coach of the Men's program.
Nathan has extensive coaching experience as a Head Coach in our Provincial program over the past 3 years and was also an Assistant Coach at the previous Canada Games (2022). Nathan also played at UPEI (2014-2019) and now assists with both UPEI and Holland College Men's soccer teams (2022-2023).
As part of our two year Canada Games Program, Janos and Nathan will take on the Head Coach positions for the U17 Girls and Boys PEIFC teams for the upcoming 2024 & 2025 seasons.
