Scoring Goals by Using Conditioned Games

Soccer PEI is pleased to announce our Coach Development Day, Saturday, May 11, from 1pm to 4pm at the Norton Diamond Soccer Centre.  The afternoon will be facilitated by former Technical Director, UPEI player and coach, Andy Cameron.  Andy has returned to PEI after a career in soccer which included Technical Director positions in five provinces and University Coach at UPEI, Memorial, UNB and UNBC.

Andy's Coaching Experience

  • NCCP Facilitator
  • Level 5, “A” License Certified
  • Nation Team player and coach experience
  • Master’s Degree in Sport Administration
  • Twice AUS Coach of the Year
  • 30 years in the Game as a Coach/Technical Director

“The afternoon session will use conditioned games working with U13 groups to bring out principles of attack that can be adapted to suit the U9 age group through to senior.  Many of these games I have adapted to use at the university level.  The objective of the afternoon is not to make you expert coaches but to show different types of organization that can allow the game to be the teacher and help your team score goals.” stated Andy.

The coaching session is open to all Soccer PEI coaches but you must pre-register for the event.  Please click the following link to register and if registered by May 4th you will qualify for an Early Bird prize.

Lynn Boudreau will be attending to present the VIP Coaching Program!
